I'm Gabriel Tsunoda, known online as Tsunode — a Creative Developer and Engineering Manager based in Minas Gerais, Brazil. I have been programming for more than 12 years, 6 of them professionally, and I currently lead engineering at Neil Patel Digital, where I work on Ubersuggest and AnswerThePublic.
What I do
I build and lead web products end to end: React, Next.js and TypeScript on the front end, Node.js, Python and AWS Lambda on the back end, with DynamoDB and Elasticsearch for data. I have led migrations from Create React App to Vite and Next.js, taking performance scores from 60 to 97 and cutting build times from five minutes to forty seconds. Before managing teams I taught React and Node as a lead instructor, and I still enjoy explaining things as much as shipping them.
